I'm not pretty,
I'm not beautiful,
I'm not gorgeous nor cute.
But I've always found myself different,
Different from the rest.
I don't always like the same music,
Or have the same taste,
I don't always think of what I'll do tomorrow,
Because I know I may not even have tomorrow.
The Lion King wasn't always my favorite movie,
Not at all.
I usually preferred Robin Hood ,
Or my real favorite, Mulan
I write in composition books,
About my sadness and grief,
But I wanted to tell you today,
That I may be something I'm not.
I may not have blonde hair,
People tell me it's light brown.
I may not have blue eyes,
They have an odd tint of gold in them.
And I may not be who I say I am.
Or am I?
I can say that because even I don't know who I am,
But for now, I think I'll enjoy the moment of letting myself be, just a little
Different.

And don't feel so bad, there's nothing wrong with asking a small question. I really don't mind.
Basically you scroll up to "Submit" at the top line here on DA, and when the drop down menu comes out, you go click on "Submit Art" like any other time.
Now, when you get to the page, you click on the button next to "Upload File" that says "Add Text". Click on the second one. Once you do that you can either type up your story/poem completely or just copy and paste it from your Word document on the computer where you've already written it, or some other file such as that like I normally do.
As far as things like bolding and italicizing go, all you do is put < b > at the beginning and < / b > at the end once your done with the bold. Same with italicizing and underlining, but use "i" for Italicize, and "u" for Underlining.

yes.. go ahead. be yourself. be different.. cuz if the world were full of people all just like the other, lets face it. it would be dreadfully boring!
so as the poem I read once goes:
Today you are You,
that is truer than true.
There is no one alive
who is Youer than You. ~
And that's true, but, being too different can get you into lots of trouble, I'm a very good example.
But we also have the duty to ourselves.. to be us and not stifle ourselves. Maybe we got to do it a little carefully and watch our backs, but you can still have fun doing it. Here's to that simple wish~!
